Resources

When it comes to finding places of encouragement, useful help or support, I have found them in many of places. As well as through faces I look up to. I will be gathering more information frequently to this page, so if you would like to have any of your go to resources added to this page please contact me.

Depression and bipolar support Alliance –  www.dbsalliance.org

This is my go-to place and has been an awesome place of help and support. This offers so much like education, involvement opportunities and so much more. Sign up for the newsletter, I love it!

www.dailystrength.org – A Variety of Support Groups and Forums for any kind of struggle.

National suicide prevention lifeline – www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org – the lifeline has someone available 24/7 via chatline or a phone call. The lifeline is always free and confidential support. Most of us feel we are alone, and no one will understand but there is hope and we are not alone…… someone else knows what It feels like.

Books that I have found that have helped, inspired and gained a different perspective of knowledge when having to work through your disorder daily.

The bipolar disorder survival guide by David J. Miklowitz, PhD

Guilt shame and anxiety by Peter R. Breggin MD

Skywriting by Jane Pauley

I CAN”T MAKE THIS UP life lessons by Kevin Hart.
